Afternoon Update

I don't normally post twice a day, but wanted to share a few things. First this visible satellite image from mid day shows the snow pack under clear skies. If you look close enough, you can make out some rivers and mountains that look darker. ALBEDO: Measurement of solar reflection. That explains today's glare off of this fresh snow pack, and holding our temps lower than forecasted. Look at the Nation Temps on my Weather Graphics - Radars and Stuff. That cold air may hang on with next system moving in Friday afternoon. I now see us with sleet or a mix at the start. More on TV and here Friday...
